FedEx One Rate Prices 2026: Every Box and Zone
FedEx One Rate prices for 2026: $12.75 to $42.75 on 2Day and Express Saver, up to $322.05 overnight, with zone band tables for every box.
FedEx One Rate prices run from $12.75 for an Envelope to $42.75 for an Extra Large Box or Tube on 2Day and Express Saver, and those two services cost the same in every zone band. 2Day A.M. and the three overnight services use three zone bands and run from $36.15 to $322.05.
Prices below are FedEx's published One Rate list prices, effective April 20, 2026, from the FedEx One Rate pricing PDF. They are not what you pay through GoatLabels, and no account discounts apply to the One Rate tables. FedEx's Special Pricing Program, a separate set of tables for older pricing agreements, has a temporary increase from October 26, 2026 to January 17, 2027, so check FedEx's rate change notice before you plan a shipment after that date.
One Rate covers six FedEx Express services: Express Saver, 2Day, 2Day A.M., Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and First Overnight. It does not cover FedEx Ground or Home Delivery, which have no flat rate, and it needs FedEx packaging. For a side-by-side with the USPS option, read FedEx One Rate vs Priority Mail Flat Rate.

Full price table: National zone (zones 5 to 8, Alaska and Hawaii)
National covers zones 5 to 8 plus Alaska and Hawaii. This is the band for coast to coast parcels.
| Packaging | 2Day A.M. | Standard Overnight | Priority Overnight | First Overnight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Envelope | $53.95 | $55.60 | $81.95 | $135.95 |
| Extra Small Box | $56.85 | $66.30 | $97.10 | $151.10 |

| Extra Large Box | $168.60 | $203.85 | $268.05 | $322.05 |
| Tube | $168.60 | $203.85 | $268.05 | $322.05 |
The Extra Large Box or Tube on First Overnight, $322.05, is the highest One Rate price. A Medium Box on 2Day A.M. is $44.75 in Local and $93.00 here, so the zone can roughly double the price of the same box.
Alaska and Hawaii price at the National band, with limits. Express Saver is not available there. FedEx lists 2Day A.M. and Standard Overnight as Hawaii outbound only, and shipments within Hawaii are excluded from One Rate. Dry ice is not permitted.
How to find your zone band
FedEx sets the zone from the origin and destination ZIP codes. Enter both in the rate tools on fedex.com and note the zone it returns, then match it to a band:
- Zone 2 is Local.
- Zones 3 and 4 are Regional.
- Zones 5 to 8, plus Alaska and Hawaii, are National.
Your ship-from ZIP stays fixed, so the band depends on the customer. If most of your orders travel far, the National table is the one that decides your costs. If you sell from a warehouse close to your buyers, the Local and Regional tables apply more often.
What is included in the price and what is extra
Included in every One Rate price:
- Fuel surcharge.
- Residential surcharges.
- Delivery area surcharges.
- Up to $100 of declared value.
Billed on top:
- Saturday delivery.
- Signature options.
- Declared value above $100.
- On-call pickup.
- Address corrections.
The included surcharges are why One Rate suits residential parcels. A weight-based quote usually adds those charges as separate lines, so compare the final total and not the base rate.
One Rate vs FedEx retail or list rate: when One Rate wins
One Rate is a flat price by packaging and zone band. A retail or standard list rate is built from weight, zone and surcharges. Neither always wins.
One Rate tends to win when:
- The zone is long. Weight-based express rates climb with distance, and the National column above is flat by box.
- The parcel is heavy for its size. Weight-based rates can be driven by dimensional weight on a bulky box, while One Rate prices the box and not the scale.
- The address is residential. The residential and fuel surcharges are already in the price.
A weight-based rate can win when the parcel is light and the trip is short, or when your item does not fit a FedEx box. FedEx Ground has no flat rate at all, so it stays priced by weight and zone.
The only way to know is to price both on the same parcel. GoatLabels quotes USPS, UPS and FedEx on domestic parcels (DHL on international lanes) side by side, paid from a prepaid wallet, with no monthly fee on Free (up to 50 shipments a month). See pricing or sign up to run your own box through it. Our flat rate vs weight-based shipping page covers the general case.
Weight and size limits by packaging type
| Packaging | Maximum weight |
|---|---|
| Envelope | 10 lb |
| Extra Small Box | 50 lb |
| Pak | 50 lb |
| Small Box | 50 lb |
| Medium Box | 50 lb |
| Large Box | 50 lb |
| Extra Large Box | 50 lb |
| Tube | 50 lb |
A parcel over 50 lb leaves One Rate and is priced by weight and zone.
Overstuffing is re-rated. An Envelope more than 3 inches thick, or a Pak more than 5 inches on its shortest side, is billed as a One Rate box by cubic volume. Pick the smallest FedEx box that closes flat and you avoid the surprise.
