FedEx and UPS 2027 rate increase: what is changing

FedEx will raise US package list rates by an average of 5.9% on January 4, 2027, its fourth year in a row at that figure, with several surcharges rising faster. UPS had not announced its 2027 increase as of September 26, 2026; its 2026 increase was also 5.9% on average.
