A refund returns value to an invoice you settle later. A wallet credit returns it to the balance the next label is bought from, after the carrier accepts the void. For anyone who prints often, that is a different thing entirely.

Prepaid means one balance

Because labels are bought from a balance you funded, an accepted void is a credit to that balance rather than a reversal of a card charge.
