GoatLabels vs Redo OMS

Every storefront, no warehouse console.

GoatLabels vs Redo OMS: Redo OMS is a Shopify-native order management system built for warehouse automation (auto-batching, scan-to-verify) that buys labels from its own balance. GoatLabels is the lighter label layer for sellers on 13 storefronts: live USPS, UPS and FedEx rates on domestic parcels (DHL on international lanes), Billy AI drafting, a prepaid wallet, and no monthly fee on Free, up to 50 shipments a month. The two do not connect to each other.

How is GoatLabels different from Redo OMS?

Redo OMS is the shipping half of Redo's post-purchase platform: a Shopify-native order management system that batches orders by rule, verifies packs by scan, and buys the label from its own prepaid balance. GoatLabels does the label part for thirteen storefronts, Shopify included, from a prepaid wallet with no monthly fee on Free (up to 50 shipments a month) and nothing to configure first. The two do not plug into each other, and Redo does not resell GoatLabels labels, because they occupy the same step. Shopify sellers who want GoatLabels rates connect the store directly; see shipping labels for Shopify. Redo positions itself against ShipStation; so does GoatLabels vs ShipStation.

When Redo OMS is the right answer

You sell on Shopify, several people pick and pack from one queue, and your day is batches, scan checks and merged orders. You already use Redo for returns or tracking and want fulfillment in the same platform. That is the operation Redo OMS describes, and AI drafting does not replace a scan gun. Stay put.

When GoatLabels is the right answer

Orders arrive from Shopify and from Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop or a DM inbox, you print from a phone or a thermal printer, and volume swings between a quiet week and a drop. You want a low cost floor and a label printed today, not an onboarding call.

What Redo OMS's own pages say, checked 2026-11-02

  • The Redo OMS landing page says the order management system starts at $99 a month and lists auto-batch, auto-merge, scan-to-verify and two-way Shopify sync as what that buys. (Redo OMS landing page)
  • Redo's own pricing page lists Shipping and Fulfilment as starting at $0.00, so the two Redo pages do not agree on the software price; check the current page before you decide. (Redo pricing page)
  • The help-center FAQ says Redo OMS is free to use and that outbound labels are bought from a prepaid balance which auto-reloads to a maximum you set whenever it falls below a trigger amount you also set. (Redo Help Center: Redo OMS FAQ and Getting Started)
  • Every shipment includes $100 of carrier-provided insurance at no additional cost, and coverage above that is sold through Redo OMS. (Redo Help Center: Redo OMS FAQ and Getting Started)
  • Redo OMS integrates with a Shopify store and syncs in real time in both directions: order status, address changes, tracking and fulfillment status update instantly on either side. (Redo Help Center: Redo OMS FAQ and Getting Started)
  • Its product page describes auto-batching orders by rules such as location, inventory level, shipping method or priority, auto-merging orders going to the same address, scan-to-verify before packing, and live shipping rates at Shopify checkout. (Redo Shipping and Fulfillment product page)
  • The landing page lets a visitor pick ShipStation, ShippingEasy, Shippo or native Shopify as their current tool, promises white-glove setup by Redo's team, and says there are no contracts. (Redo OMS landing page)
  • Redo says it integrates directly with UniUni, that a merchant can connect their own negotiated UniUni account or use Redo's rates, and that most label platforms run carrier connections through a middleware layer such as EasyPost. (Redo blog: UniUni direct carrier integration)
  • A label can be voided before the carrier scans the package; once a package is scanned the label cannot be voided, and the help center points to the Reship option for return-to-sender packages. (Redo Help Center: Redo OMS FAQ and Getting Started)
  • International shipping is supported with duties paid by the customer either at checkout (DDP) or on delivery (DDU). (Redo Help Center: Redo OMS FAQ and Getting Started)
  • Redo describes itself as an all-in-one ecommerce platform for returns, order tracking, fulfillment and AI-powered marketing, and the OMS is one product inside that platform. (Redo blog: UniUni direct carrier integration)

Signup to first label

No onboarding call, no rules to tune. And connecting a store is optional.

A warehouse OMS earns its setup when a packing floor depends on it. This is the shorter path for everyone else. Thirteen store connectors, Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop and more, sync into To Ship whenever you are ready: skip it entirely and the first label still prints today, because there is no onboarding call and no batching rule standing between signup and shipping. An Instagram DM, a Facebook comment, a dictated address, or a screenshot from a friend goes to Billy, who reads it and fills the addresses, package, and service: these orders never became importable records, so no rule builder was ever going to catch them. You top up a wallet with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, or crypto and buy each label from that prepaid balance, then compare USPS, UPS and FedEx side by side at the all-in price (DHL on international lanes) and print from a phone or a thermal printer at the packing table.

Five things a small shop opens every day, and one of them runs from a phone at the packing table. What is missing is scan-to-verify and rule-based batching; if your packing floor runs on them, that is the honest reason to stay where you are.

The packing table is the workstation

The whole console fits in your hand.

A warehouse OMS assumes a desk, a scanner, and someone whose job is the queue. If your queue is a phone propped against a tape gun, this is the same multi-carrier job without the desktop: rate-shop, buy from the wallet, and print to the thermal printer beside you.

Paste or snap a DM screenshot โ€” Billy pulls the name, the address, and the item out of it.
USPS, UPS and FedEx come back as all-in prices on one screen, DHL on international lanes, no rule builder involved.
Buy from the prepaid balance and one-tap print to a share sheet or a thermal printer over Wi-Fi.
An in-app alert the first time new orders sync each day from any of the 13 connected stores.
Hold the mic and say the address โ€” Billy drafts it and reads the all-in rate back.
No rule builder required

Say the order, skip the batch.

Batching rules only fire on orders that made it into the system as records. Hold the mic and say who it is going to instead: Billy looks up the buyer, picks the service, quotes USPS, UPS and FedEx (DHL on international lanes) at the all-in price, and queues the label against your prepaid balance, then answers for it afterwards when you ask where it got to. This is the real product, not a render.

GoatLabels vs Redo OMS FAQ

Does GoatLabels integrate with Redo OMS?
No. There is no connector between GoatLabels and Redo OMS, and Redo does not sell GoatLabels labels. The two products sit in the same place: both pull orders from your store and buy the label. If you want GoatLabels rates on a Shopify store, connect the store itself from the Connect Stores page: new orders land in To Ship as drafts and the tracking number goes back to Shopify when you buy the label. An export from Redo, or any other tool, can also be imported as a CSV, and the REST API takes orders programmatically. A returns or customer-service app on the same store is unaffected; only the label purchase moves.
Is GoatLabels a good Redo OMS alternative?
It depends on what you are paying for. Redo OMS is a warehouse product: auto-batching, auto-merge, scan-to-verify and a team that configures it for you, all native to Shopify. If several people pick and pack from one queue every day, that depth is the point. GoatLabels is the lighter label layer: thirteen store connectors instead of one, USPS, UPS and FedEx quoted side by side on every domestic parcel with DHL joining on international lanes, Billy drafting labels from a pasted order or a screenshot, and no monthly fee on Free, up to 50 shipments a month.
How does GoatLabels pricing compare to Redo OMS?
GoatLabels Free has no monthly fee for up to 50 shipments a month: you fund a wallet and pay per label, so a quiet month on Free costs nothing. Past 50 a month, Pro is a flat $40 a month with unlimited shipments and no minimum term. Redo's own pages disagree with each other on the software price, so this page does not pick one: the dated source block above quotes its landing page and its help center side by side, and its current pricing page has the live figure.
I sell on Shopify and other marketplaces. Which tool fits?
Redo OMS is built around Shopify; its pages describe real-time two-way sync with a Shopify store. GoatLabels syncs thirteen storefronts, Shopify included, into one To Ship queue, so an Etsy, eBay or TikTok Shop order ships from the same screen as the Shopify one, and tracking is written back to the store when you print (Amazon orders still buy their labels in Amazon Buy Shipping).
Do I lose warehouse automation by choosing GoatLabels?
You trade a rules engine for AI drafting and an API. Billy turns a pasted order, a DM screenshot or a dictated address into a filled label, the connectors deliver store orders as ready drafts, and the public REST API plus webhooks buy labels and return tracking events programmatically. What GoatLabels does not have is scan-to-verify or rule-based auto-batching; if your packing floor depends on those, keep them.
Can I try GoatLabels next to Redo OMS?
Yes. Create an account, top up the wallet, and buy a label. With no monthly fee on Free (up to 50 shipments a month), running both for a few weeks costs you only the labels you print here. Just keep each order in one tool so the store is not marked fulfilled twice.
